coolant hoses

Hi all,

As some of you may know, i have been away at uni for the last 10 weeks, i got back at the weekend and now have a good month to work on the car. So i must plan of action is to try and get the car running.

So my question is where is the best place to buy coolant hoses from? im looking for some blue silicone ones.

I also need some hose to attach my carbs to my manifold, can i just use the same stuff?

Thanks

Mikkel

autoperformanceonline ebay seller.

I think benB had a bit of headache with them but they've been good with me, I've got everything from them so far.

They once sent me a blue hose instead of a black one and they gave me another hose i needed FOC for the inconvenience.

ebay - ^^^ as above ; also look at Mrsilicone - think they are cheaper when you take into account post - that sell^^^ will not bundle up the postage when order more than one item, grrr.......

I've just spend a small foirtune on a new set of hoses so may have som 90 degree 32 mm spared (have been cut and are red

Be aware silicone hoses are much more likely to blow off under pressure then the rubber variety.

Rubber can be got from Halfords to get you running (or the scrap yard which is usually a lot cheaper).

Save the silicon for when you've got the money and aren't time pushed.
