Anyone know the weight of a V12 jag engine and autobox.

in my little book of engine weights it says a fully dressed jag v12 is 308Kg...dont know about the gearbox though.....

When i looked into putting one in my locost i think it worked out to be around 400kg all together.

Very heavy indeed.....

I plucked one out with a GM400 box, much heavier than a BW65 and could not move it once on the floor, 400kg sounds about right, not 300 that's for sure.

Indeed but you'll still be at 800kg ish about the weight of an old fiesta...
Won't handle for toffee but should work well at a drag race.

Every time I go in my back yard, I see a Cobra chassis/body and an XJ12 and think that they should be merged into a single vehicle
