Need to go and buy one as the head is about to come off and stuck until I get the tool. I think their a Torque bolt or something. Star shaped socket. Will Halfrauds stock them?

Yep halfords do a full range of them. Torque bit / socket it is I believe. But just go and have a look

Torx and I think its t55 but some one will tell you for sure

early ones where a spline tool

Pinto's had 2 types ohf head bolt, Multi spline (12mm) OR torx T55

^^ as above - there are 2 types

the early ones have the multi splines - these are non-stretch bolts

the late ones have the torx - these are stretch bolts (these have a different tightening procedure)

I would always get a set of the later ones for refitting, regardless of what was on it before
