1600 xflow value?

My mate is potentially selling his 1600 xflow. How much is it worth as a bare lump? Its an excellent runner but i couldnt comment on its history etc without getting him to dig out the details.

Update on this....

I have personally spoken to the guy who built the engine (engine builder himself). Spec is as follows:

1660
chambered head
flat top lotus (?) pistons
burtons high pres oil pump
new water pump
burton 285 cam
steel rocker towers
lightened fly (2.5 pounds removed)

Covered approx 2000 miles in a westy. Not much documentation to support the above but the guy who built it seemed very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the engine.

What sort of value would you put on that? I Was thinking £300-400?

Rayward - sorry I think he may have a buyer, its just a matter of them agreeing a price - but should it not work out I will let you know.
