Can anybody suggest a nice carbon finish exhaust can that would fit nicely on my car - running ford CVH with bike carbs so has to be suitable

A lot will depend on the cars intended use.
If it is only to be used on the road then a race type can might be suitable, especially if you desire a "rorty" exhaust note.
If, however, you intend to do trackdays then you may need a more "standard" can to keep it quiet.
We have used a standard ZX9 Titanium can on our bike engined Phoenix and its a lot quieter than you might expect. Seems quieter than a bike.
There are loads of standard cans on fleabay and they don't usually fetch much. Same goes for race cans to some extent, unless you want one of the more favoured brands.
You could have interchangeable cans.
Whay are you going to use the car for?

Geoff.

R1 carbon can is popular, looks nice, is fairly cheap, not too loud, etc. Just needs a reducer welding on the input side to join up with your pipe.

I've had one for about 3 years

Mainly for road however want to do a few track days next year when i have the cage on so will need to be less that 105db. Going from your comments it dosent really matter if its a bike one then?

careful what you bolt on, I fitted a silencer off a GSXR1100 to my pinto 2.0i injection, probably dropped the power by 25%, so quiet at running rpms, but curiously loud at tickover (sound like a transit with the exhaust broken at the manifold)

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
