wanted short zetec sump

Hi all, I'm after a shortened and baffled sump for a 2.0 silvertop zetec.
It's worth a post before I think of ripping my arm off for a new dunnell Or scholar engines sump.
I'm using a standard 1800 zetec sump right now and the speed humps around my way are continuous trying to take it for themselves!

Most people on here modify their own.. I got mine done locally for £100. Just a thought.

I have considered getting a professional to do the welding locally. If anyone can post some pictures showing where they made up the oil capacity and what kind of baffles they have used it would be more possible. As long as I Can find a good ally welder!

I've found someone who will happily modify the sump, but what needs to be done with the pickup? Is it just to be shortened the same amount as the sump has lost?

Yep, I just cut a section out of mine and welded it up, making sure the clearance was about the same as before.
