Heater bypass valve

I'm looking for a cable activated heater valve that has a bypass when in the closed position so that coolant still flows. I've had a trawl through fleabay but the valves from modern cars are electronically operated so not suitable unless modifiable.

Does anyone know of a suitable valve?

cheers
Jed

Classic range rovers have a vacuum operated one but you can crack the top off the piston and attach a cable easily...
