mk blade and throttle position sensor

can any one help.got a lack of power/miss between 8-10000 rpm have checked everything and last shot is a throttle position sensor.after removing old 1 and trying to fit new one i cant see how throttle shaft attaches to tps.looks like both are female slots?am i missing a boss or something?i have tried pushing sensor on then operating throttle then removing sensor and the position of the sensor has not moved?very confused.

I don't know if the blade is the same but my ZX9R one had a very small metal square/rectangle that did exactly what you want.

I bet you dropped it like i did with mine didn't notice till I camr to put it back together.

Lucky for me it had landed on the engine when I removed it so check around that area.

The ends on mine look like a 'U' shape on both ends.
