New engine

Hi Guys,

I have just swapped what is left of my Sierra donor for a 2.0 zetec engine which will be replacing my Pinto.

Can anybody please point me in the direction of a site (or maybe a thread on here) that will give me a step by step guide on changing from a Pinto to a Zetec for a Seven type car and the extra bits and mods I will need?

I have searched on here but can't find any complete sort of guide to the swap. I'm pretty good with a Pinto engine but I have no experience of the Zetec and although the upgrade will make a nice winter project I am concerned about my lack of knowledge. I will more than likely do a few bits my 'own way' but it would be nice to have a guide to get me started...

I hope to fit my existing Weber 40's and Type 9 'box to the new engine, along with a megajolt.

Thanks in anticipation....

Dave.

Thanks Tony exactly what I was looking for!!! Really informative and now my mind is buzzing with ideas. If the weather doesn't brighten up soon I may just write this summer off for driving and start work on fitting the zetec!
