Leaking water pump
Just reconnected all the plumbing this afternoon. When the engine is running there is water spraying on to the cam belt from a small hole in the back
of the pump body. It does look like it should be there. Do i have a seal missing or something. I have had the pump of for refurb and replaced the
gasket? Any suggestions

whichever one it is, the seal has gone in the bearing and needs a new one
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Takes me back, I had several minis that I regularly had to replace water pumps on. Like Mark says it's the seal in the bearing. What engine ?
Could be a big job on a overhead cam engine (cambelt off to be able to get at the pump). If this is the case it may be worth changing the cam belt at
the same time (unless you know it is OK.)

Local factors called Roadrunner, but any factor should have them in stock for a similar cost, the Ford item shouldn't be too expensive
