I've heard, and I mean heard so not sure if it true or not, that it will cost about £300. this looks like a better deal.

Anyone know when it will be coming out?

cheers Mark

when I spoke to Dave and Karl at the Autosport Show they said the new ECU was £380 with software and the flying lead loom, and the impression that I got was that it was already available.

I rang up Emerald last Tuesday and they said it wasn't coming out until January and the price is £380 + VAT.

Is there anything out there which is as good as Emerald? I don't fancy paying £550 + VAT for the all singing all dancing ECU when I won't use all the functions.

Cheers Mark

there's plenty as good as emerald and several that are better, but I don't think many cheaper if bought new.

DTA and Emerald would always be at the top of my shopping list in terms of features per pound, support and free software.

my secondhand MBE setups didn't cost me much more than megasquirt would have, plus I built the first one in 1996, which was a bit pre-megasquirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, with a "proprietary" setup, I know it will work and that the software is easy to use and that I won't waste precious time fffing around with it!
