Sump height and speed humps

Were I live we are surrounded by speed humps , some are quite high and am worried that I may ground my sump, could someone tell me how low there sump pan is below the floor pan. I have modified my sump and positioned my engine where it fits best and am happy with the result, but it is only 1" below the floor, I am a bit concerned that as it's a bit higher that the bonnet isn't going to fit.

What is the concensus of opinion?

Cheers

Rich

I have a dry sump on mine and it is about 1" below the chassis bottom. I have a zetec st170 motor which has the variable cam valve on top of the head and this means that it is higher than a normal zetec. The valve clears a Velocity XT bonnet by about half an inch. With a normal sump and only being an inch below I suspect it will be very tight.......
