Clutch problem
The clutch cable on my Indy snapped coming home the other night, however it appears the reason it snapped is because the release arm has come away
from the fulcrum pin.
I've removed the boots and can see into the bell housing. the clutch is disengaged, I nursed it home in 2nd the 1/2 mile I was away from home,
lucky as I had no cable ties with me
The release bearing & guide sleeve look fine, no scoring and the fingers that I can see on the pressure plate all seem fine, straight &
normal.
I dont really want to seperate engine from gearbox at this stage, the fulcrum pin is a plastic affair in the bell housing and should be easy to locate
blind.
Is there anything I've missed I should check before re fitting the release arm and jumping back in again?

What engine/ gearbox are you using? If it's the sierra box then I suspect that when the cable broke the release arm snapped back pretty quickly
causing it to come off the fulcrum?

Vauxhall 2.0 XE matched to a Quaife T9 via a Helix organic clutch.
I've got all the boots off right now and having a good root around I cant see any sign of damage.
