Pinto Cluch Cable Indy - Help!

Hi,

My mate has just passed SVA first time at Beverley with his MK Indy Pinto. Just after the test was complete the clutch cable popped off the arm. After a number of failed attempts to get it back on we towed her home, luckily on 2 miles away. Every now and again you think you have it hooked over but the a couple of clutch actuations and it's off again. He is running the alloy RS2000 bell housing and type 9 box. How the hell do you get the nipple into the clutch arm? The access hole is only an inch from the bulkhead.

Thanks,
Steve

Or perhaps a positive stop to stop the pedal overreturning?

I need to get the thing on in the first place before remedying the problem! I can't see the release arm or feel it to get the nipple in position.
