1300cc pistons in 1600cc xflow

i have a set of +60 pistons 1300cc big valve cut out ones that i pland on puting in my block but could not get a quote cheaper than £300 to rebore it out from std to take the +60 1300cc pistons

can i ask what sort of extra bhp would i get fitting the 1300cc +60 pistons


also anyone know where within 30 miles of glasgow i can get it rebored .

5 to 7 probably. Can't see it being much more. Doing this myself soon, but going +90 to give 1700.
If your block needs reboring anyway, I'd go for it, otherwise may not be worth the hassle.

The only company I know of that do rebores about here is

Its been years since I had anything done by them though so I can't comment on how good/bad they are now, but they used to a have a decent rep.

good guys,and reasonable.

supplied everything for my old fiesta rs turbo for 250 but that wasn't a re bore just rings, 8 valves skim , mains, shells, head bolts, big end bolts, cam belt and all the gaskets.

ask for john, he knows his stuff pretty well.
