Custom Exhaust maker in Hampshire/Berkshire?
Can anyone help me please? I live between Basingstoke and Reading and am looking for somewhere reasonably close that can make me a custom stainless
exhaust for my MK Indy/Toyota 4AGE build. Can anyone suggest anywhere please?
regards
Pete

I'd be suprised if Martin Keenan didn't know the required sizes etc for a 4AGE engined Indy.

simpsons are just outside of slough which isn't too far. I would happily recommend them.

Simpsons Racing Exhaust in Slough.
Simpsons
They'll be at Autosport today until Sunday, they are always verybusy after the show.
They have a kit car department and carry out noise testing on site. Highly recommended.

Maniflow in Salisbury do top work, and will work in stainless if asked. Be prepared to wait though. They are busy year round with Mini work.
Not the cheapest around, but by far some of the nicest work I have ever seen.......in the world of motorsport and outside.
Cheers,
Syd.

Thanks for the replies guys. How reasonable are Simpsons? I was hoping to get manifold through to tail pipe for £500 or less; Will this be feasible
with Simpsons?

Mine was just short of £750iirc That was from head to tail pipe, matched lengths, biggest silencer they could fit etc. I doubt you'd get a full
system for £500, you'd get the manifold though I'd of thought, best bet to give them a ring. Their work is the best I have seen and imho
you get what you pay for compared to cheaper 'off the shelf' type systems that some kit manufacturers supply but they are functional.
Depends what you want and how serious your engine is in terms of squeezing out every last bit!
imho any good exhaust manufacturer will be busiest this time of year what with the autosoprt show and people getting cars ready/built for the
beginning of the racing season in the next month or two.

Thanks for the recommendations Ned. I haven't got the engine in yet, so hopefully they will not be so busy by the time I'm ready for it
to be made. I tried a local place in basingstoke called Longlife exhausts and they wanted £700 but didn't have their own mandrel pipe bender
and couldn't supply a repackable exhaust, so Simpsons sound pretty competitive and from what I've heard they have noise testing facilities
in-house, which would be useful in making sure I'm OK for track days!
