same thing, either TT jobbie, or more likely I think it is a vortech, which is a bigger turbo and toothed gears.

TT friction drive is deffo the nicest idea.

Without getting into too much detail, there is an electronically controlled, friction drive variable speed drive cartridge on the market now (well, in prototype form) which will be able to offer mechanically driven, centrifugally supplied boost, entirely controlled from the engine ECU, you can have pretty much any boost level at any revs, with no bleed off valves etc whatsoever.
