I think it sounds a bit on the expensive side. I bought an SD1 with 5-speed box and V5 log for £300. What’s more it had 1/2 a tank of petrol and i
managed to sell the steering column and radiator to a fellow Cobra builder for £40.00
The scrapies up the road took the shell away for £20.00 so the cost was nearer £270.
Be rude and offer him £250 saying that he can keep the efi bit because you want to fit a Webber. Or alternatively put a post on findit for an sd1 and
see what turns up
