ZZR1100 Keihin CVK Carb Question....

Adjusting the pilot circuit, am I right in my thinking, screwing in richens the mixture, i.e. reduces the airflow to the pilot jet thus increasing fuel flow?

- You can tell I'm trying to convince myself, just as I'm getting some odd results.
Cheers.
Pete.

I would say you are right, but have a look here, it's full of useful information on the Keihin CVK carbs.

On a CV type carb screwing the pilot screw in will normally weaken the mixtureas it works on the fuel delivery. On a slide type carb (ie not a constant depression type) where the slide is lifted mechanically, screwing the pilot screw in will richen the mixture as it works on the air bleed.
Cheers.
