Barnett Clutch Question.

Hi
Iv fitted a second hand (imported from the states)Barnett coil spring pressure plate to my R1 engine.
As a winter rebuild project I am fitting new Kevlar clutch plates and it occurs to me that the last clutch plate is running directly on the back of the Aluminum pressure plate .Is this correct?
Should there have been a steel plate to go between the spring pressure plate and the last clutch plate?
The clutch was slipping a little when the engine was cold.

Tia

Yes, that's right. I've had mine on for a few years and there's no appriciable wear.
