Weld-in ally fuel filler neck - cap

A few months ago I'm sure that I saw somewhere advertising weld-in ally fuel filler necks / caps for less than £10. But I've slept since then and can't for the life of me remember where it was. Does anyone remember where it was? I know that CBS and Merlin do some at £17 ish but my mate has about 10 fuel/oil tanks to do and it adds up to a bit of a saving.
TIA

Don't forget the unleaded restrictor required if you have a CAT fitted. Generally these filler caps are just pipe so you might have to weld in a smaller washer type disc inside before fitting.

These particular tanks are for motorsport use only. I know what you mean though as I have this type of filler on my own tank. To avoid splashing I generally fill from a jerry can via a funnel so it doesn't really matter if there is a restrictor there or not. When was the last time anyone saw leaded petrol available from a pump on a forecourt anyway???

Hi

If you go for the larger size from rally desighn ( which is just about the cheapest supply ) you get the O'Ring seal with the cap. If you go for the smaller size you DO NOT get the seal with the cap. However i can give you a load if required. I have a rudy great box of em and now i only use the larger size .

Cheers Matt

On the road from Romsey to Salisbury, last Monday. Sells 5 star as well.

Also on the A303 on the way to Exeter. A BP before you go down to the lower sections.

Nev.
