running in 'problems'

its not too much of a problem, but when driving to sva, i noticed one hell of a grinding noise when i get going...could be the diff but im not sure... has anyone experienced anything like this??

also when accelerating hard, she seems to splutter and almost die, shes okay at low revs, but i cant really put my foot down. im thinking this could be cause shes running too lean? on a 2000 engine, the screws are about 2 7/8 turns out... with increased jets and new filters...

If you haven't got a cush joint in the driveline then you will get some crunchy noises coming out of the diff when you get going (especially as your ear is only a few inches away from it). But equally it could be a sign of low diff oil levels etc......
