RED TOP OIL COOLER
I am currently hopefully building a silk purse from a sows ear (Red Top) in a Dutton Phaeton with IRS.
The engine that is going in the car has an oil cooler as standard, which I wish to discard. I have not taken apart yet, but was wondering if anyone
else has permanently removed the oil cooler and the sandwhich plate?
If so how did they fit the oil filter to the block?

Unscrew the filter and then the adaptor that holds the sandwich plate and fit a std nipple and refitt the filter.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
