airfield testing??
hello folks, does anyone know of an airfield or similar than i could rent for half a day to test my car and make adjustments...not road legal and ime
in the midlands....thanx

Curborough near Lichfield - use to be an airfield but is now a sprint course. Looking at a couple of hundred quid for half a day mid week testing.
I have used it a few times and it is ideal if you have a couple of mates to split the cost with.

I imagine that would be HUGELY expensive even more so than getting the car dynoed and adjusted.

We have the 'or similar' down here in the valleys....
...they're called industrial estates

dude where are you in coventry, im in binley
long marston airfield the other side of stratford is closer, there is a massive part of the airfield that they dont use, its where they hold those car
driving experience days

I always thought that the word airfield was euphemistic.

Im trying to find somwhere to test mine im over coventry way as well. Dont really want to take it on a track day as it would be its first run out but
finding a bit of tarmac to run up and down to test brakes steering etc is much harder than i thought it would be
