fuel lines - where?
I starting to think about doing my fuel lines.
i know its standard on production cars, but for some reason, i don't like ridgid lines. thought of stones hitting them and fracturing them i
think. anyway...
is there going to be any problem with s/iva in running braided flexi hose down the side of the cabin? basically, where the 'sill' is
down the passenger side perhaps? brake line is going down the driver side.
was thinking about doen the trans tunnel, but the exhaust has to go down there too. heat and fuel... hmmm... how heat resistant is braided fuel pipe?
opposite sides of the tunnel maybe?

Don't forget that the rubber tube inside the braided line will perish and rupture in the end....
hence my preference of copper over braided.

If I were to do it I'd run the fuel line along the passengers sill and then box it in so if it splits it doens't spray all over the
passenger.

There's no problem with running braided along the sill in the cabin for SVA. Don't know for IVA as I haven't checked.
Not a terribly good idea IMO, but it's definitely been passed.

the idea was to put it inside, but i could run it outside the sill, as i plan to panel the chassis with aluminium anyway, so it will have aluminium on
the inside of it, and the fibreglass/kevlar body outside
