MT75 v Type 9 gearbox?

Hi, can i put a mt75 gearbox in my aries locost? and if so, what are the pro's and con's?

Dunno but it is bigger than a type 9, depends how much room you have.

Not sure if it will fit but...Pros are that you can easily be modded to allow the gearlever position to be moved backwards or forward to suit the car, it is a little stronger than the type 9 and good for most power levels used in most 7 type cars. The downside is that you cant get the ratios altered if you wanted closer or different ratios (about £500-£700 to have the type 9 rebuilt and uprated), has a fixed bellhouseing so will only easily fit to Ford engines up to and including zetecs.
