Pinto carb setup

Hi Guys.

Misplaced my workshop manual AGAIN!!!
I got my SVA in the morning.
Just incase I have prob's with the emissions.
How do I make the engine run leaner?
Couldn't find the mixture screw, when I looked.
Too bl***y dark now, so thought I would ask here.
A pic would help.

Cheers David

Can't help about the carb setting but good look for the morning, don't think you've anything to worry about with a pinto imho if you have you proof of age document.

Cheers

Rich

If you look beneath the black diaphragm on the side of the carb there is a plastic tube (white) which is the idle speed adjustor , just below that is a small hole in the flange of the carb , that is the idle mixture screw

Is this it?
Also do you screw it IN or OUT to make the engine run leaner?
