Crossflow Single Weber

Has anyone used or had a single weber side draft on their crossflow 1300??

I have now seen two and missed both of them for sale on the net, and keep being told i should get one.

What are they like? Sound, performance etc?

Thanks

I used one (on a Lynx manifold) on a 1700 crossflow when I first built mine - it made 110 bhp with just a fast road cam , and was a doddle to set up

Its cuz I is blond , innit

Yep, I have one on my crossflow. A Weber 45 DCOE.

Sounds great, goes pretty well too, although I'm not convinced that it's set up properly. The rest of the engine has been "breathed on" too.

Originally I was using a dizzy with side exit cap and it was a little grumpy at lower speeds. I've now got MegaJolt and it's fine low down.

I think it works well with my current set up with scope to go further. I'm not sure it would be worth it on a standard or even GT spec 1300.
