sierra dohc plenum removal

Hey everyone, i have a sierra 2l dohc (heavy engine i know) and trying to remove the intake plenum to modify, clean etc. I think ive removed all the torx bolts, i cant see any around the flanges, but it seems to be stuck solid still! do i crowbar it off or smash it off with a lump hammer, or is there a special way to remove it? thanks al

Double / triple check there are none missed, then get a block of wood and place that somewhere substantial and thump the wood. Don't do one huge whack, just lots of lesser ones down and upwards. Don't use a crow bar you'll mark the mating surfaces. Take your time

Check that you have undone the 2 nuts holding the thermastadt housing on, you will find that it is integral to the whole inlet manifold.
