I think i've got a winner - Zetec turbo clutch
Been having a play with me next incarnation of transmission and everything is looking good..
Got a silvertop Zetec turbo currently hooked up to a stock type 9 (usual setup) but going for something a little stronger..and low cost..
Got myself a Scorpio 2.3 MT75 hydro gearbox and today tried the Focus RS Clutch i'd bought a couple of years ago on a stock 2.0 flywheel. With
the slave cylinder fully compressed the flywheel and rather large AP clutch actually fit in the bellhousing! Just need to double check the
distance between the flywheel/crank mounting face and the bellhousing mating face. I measured the distance the crank face sticks out from the back of
the engine a while back but can't remember it for the life of me now - anyone know? Think its something like 15mm but not sure..

also...anyone know the throw distance of the stock Focus RS clutch? Used to be on the AP website but they updated it and that info isn't on
there anymore. Think its also something like 15mm but need to figure out what bore master cylinder to use as well!

Not found a Pinto-sized clutch than can cope with more that about 250lb/ft and didn't fancy a paddle clutch - too many horror stories about
their on/off operation.
I also have a bee in my bonnet about trying to use standard components wherever possible...
