diff guru pls?

hi peeps..currently ime using a 7.5" open diff in my car- i would like a lsd of course! output flanges are 100mm...i think ime right in saying that i need a granada cossie diff to fitt straight in?? however 7" lsd with 108mm flanges are more common
can the flanges be swapped over? are the driveshafts longer on 7" diffs?
thanx for any help

108 flanges are not that common! (in my experience, though you were right last time on all this!! )

To my knowledge they were only used on mk1 and mk2 granadas, porsche 911 turbos and 2wd sierra cosworths. (plus a few big bmw's)

The 24v scorpios, although they used 7.5 inch diffs, only had 100mm cv's as far as I have seen.
