Ive decided to run bike carbs. But not quite sure what to look at.

My engine is a BMW 1.6 running about 100 BHP standard. So whats the best carbs for me?

Any from a bike of around 600cc capacity. Think the CBR ones are pretty popular.

The prices have rocketed on ebay for Honda CBR600 carbs - mine cost £15 last year... last week they were going for £75 - £100!

It may just have been a temporary abberation - or maybe the dealers have cottoned on to the new demand.

Why wouldn't you want carbs from a bigger engine? Can you put too much in?

Also are there carbs for injection engines?

The reason for not using larger bike carbs is that you may as well match the carbs 'off the shelf' with your engine size and power output. That way you will probably not have to play around with jet sizes.

PS to my last post - 'carbs for injection engines' are called throttle bodies.
