carbon dash

Hi as anyone used a carbonfibre dash from carbon mods and passed the sva with it, as it says on their website that some have failed with the bottom radius .

I'm getting THIS one made by a friend, and trying to sort out what the bottom radius needs to be.
According to the new manual:
quote:

The instrument panel lower edge within the “specified zone” must have a radius of curvature not less than 19mm or 5mm and covered with a non-rigid material. Except where an adaptation for a disabled person makes it impossible to comply. (see note 7)

But on their site it talks about 45mm radius?

As far as I was aware it wasn't the bottom radius that failed. It was the return lip behind the radius that didn't have any edge trim on there and that which failed. The people that did fail then kicked off with Westfield because the dashes were marketed as Westfield copies and then Westfield kicked off with CarbonMods and asked them to put a disclaimer on their website...
