smoking crossflow

my 1600 crossflow has started to chuck a puff of blue smoke out of the exhaust if you rev it after it has been saty ticking over for a few minutes. do we think its most likely to be valve guide oil seals? m.

Typical valve stem oil seal symptoms but check the oil level and the breather system first. Engine oil stop leak can help but it is possible to change the seals without removing the head

oil level and breather system should be ok. they are both as they always have been, smoke just seams to have started recently. m.
