tuning megajolt on a pda
I have seen you can run the megajolt tuning thing on a pda rather than a pc. What do i need to connect it up?

For megasquirt you need an old Palm PDA, I ot a Palm 3C (Palm IIIC) on ebay for £10.
Also need a null-modem and the free software, there's about 3 different ones, if you do a google search for Palm and Megasquirt you'll get
them up.
Works quite well, I use it as a digital dash, gives you a readout of any parameter the MS knows, revs, spark angle, temperature, throttle position,
map sensor etc. etc. Plus the IIIC is colour..

Megasquirt software is not compatible with megajolt.
There was a Pocket PC application called "Pocket Spark", but the original host website has been down for a long time so there have been no
updates and I don't know if it's compatible with the latest MJLJ firmware. If you want to give it a try you can get a copy from the
Autosports forum.
Obviously you will need a Pocket PC that has a serial comms port, most modern ones are USB and not suitable.
