Baffling the sump
I've had a sump shortened but it doesn't have any baffles in. Has anyone got any pics of how they've put them in afterwards.
The annoying thing is the one I've taken off has got baffles but the bottom of the sump is mangled

When you say shortened, do you mean a bit taken off the bottom?
I would widen the sump to keep the same oil capacity (if possible) and then mount a plate horizontally across the sump with a large hole for your oil
pick-up to go through and several drain holes towards the middle of the plate.
You are trying to prevent the oil sloshing up the sides, so the plate will keep it low down for the oil pick-up pipe. Just make sure the drain holes
are not too small or the oil won't get back to your pick-up fast enough.
If you do a search, someone has bound to have done one and posted some pictures.
