ARP main cap bolts
I am going to use ARP rod bolts, i always do, but is it worth the expense of main cap bolts in an normal is engine?(not highly tuned), i haven't
heard of any failures on normal engines or am i wrong?
VX lump by the way
Must try harder

*If* your removing the Crank i'd replace them with New Standard Spec' ones
(Standard spec' ones aren't expensive from somewhere like Autovaux)
If not removing the crank i'd leave alone
Definetly use ARP's on the Rod's
Have seen a couple of standard rod bolts 'let go' and the results ain't pretty

I wouldnt worry with the mains. Just replace the con rod bolts with arp as they are more stressed.

Bit of a hijack, but what's so special about ARP bolts?
They seem very expensive. Is there an industrial equivalent I may be able to purchase through work?
