auto choke not working 2ltr pinto

the auto choke should come on if i press the accelerator all the way to the floor, but it does not, i have to manually go in and push the choke flat?? carnt figure out why

Is the bimetalic strip exerting pressure on the choke flap when the engine is cold?If not maybe it has come loose and wound back over.Is the mechanism dry,i have had this problem with an auto coke before and found it was easily resolved.you probably find very little wrong.

Is it wired (Blu/W from alternator)?
