Last Major Bit for Pinto to Zetec Project
I think i now have most parst sourced. The only exception is the exhaust manifold & headers.
As the Pinto is the opposite to the Zetec, i cant reuse, even in a modified state, my existing exhaust.
so the question is, where is the best place to get a locost exhaust manifold & headers for a zetec engine, the type that exit over the top
rail.
Chers,
B

I got one from Robin Hood, it wasn't the tidiest I'd seen but certainly a good price.

Robin Hood do one that goes through the bonnet, bout £150. If you've got more cash to splash, try Tiger sportscars in Peterborough or Westfield
who do units that curve down inside the engine bay and come through the bodywork, but they work out at double the price, £300 plus P&P.
I was being snobby and wanted one that comes through the bodywork, not the bonnet, but without the price. As such, I'm using one that was
designed to come through the bonnet, but have shortened the primaries and single output after the collector, and am adding a curve to bring a single
pipe out through the bodywork near the passenger footwell bulkhead.
We shall see how it turns out....
