Jamie, would you mind posting the q+a's in here? That way you wont have to answer the same questions over and over - people can look at this thread.

Fozzie - could you move this to the IVA section? Could be sticky if it picks up some steam

My question is - did you have an radius issues with your front suspension/hubs?

Thanks for ur offer re info. I know that I'll have to change from plastic fuel tank to metal (probably alloy), but not sure about other "extras" wrt SVA requirements.

Have heard that a) exhaust silencer has to be guarded with heat shield,
b) the ign electrics have to be protected against water ingress, e.g. distributor fitted with, errrr, some kinda condom (or other rubber cover).
Are these points accurate? Any other things to prepare for, in addition to known SVA stuff?

[answer]

no gaurd,i didnt have one.

yes us a durex extra thick, ribbed works better,a little tip use strewberry flaver you get a nice smell when driving.
only kidding,
no,i didnt have any water proofing on or around the dizzy.

yes this was one of the things i failed on first time,
1.the top crowns on the shockers i had to file the edges,my shocks are pro shock so if you find a pick of one you can see that the edge isnt atall sharp, and could easyly be missed.
2.the bottom spring ajuster, the bit you use a c spaner on again filed.
3.the rebound ajusting knob,i used a gromit that fitted over it.
4.make sure the spring ends can not be contacted with the ball.if so file them.
5.the hubs them selves were fine put a gromit over the brake fluid inlet banjo bolt

good luck
