yep. i know a lot of people will disagree, but i can't be doing with copper pipe.

i'd prefer some kind of telfon hose, but its too expensive at the minute. so rubber will do, and when that fails, i'll look at something else.

plan is stainless braided rubber hose, run inside plastic or copper pipe through the tunnel, as my exhaust is there too.

same with brakes too, all flexi pipes for mine. means i can take my axle out without disconnecting any brake lines at all.

thats what i like to hear

people say it will perish, i tend to think its just as likely to perish at the carbs or tank as it is anywhere else, so using it throughout doesn't increasethe chance of it failing

you haven't got any left over have you? i'm after some 8mm too

I think im going to run stainless overbraided at the rear where it runs close and exposed to the ground, plain rubber after the pump in the tunnel (not as exposed and I want to be able to check the status at a cursory glance) and then overbraided in the engine bay again after the high pressure filter.

^ sounds a good plan

if anyone has any spare, i'm after about 1 metre of 8mm hose

considerably more (5m) or 10mm hose, so i know i'll have to buy that, but you never know who has what

8 mm is 13ish mm
6 mm is 11 mm

so 10 mm will be about 15 - 16 mm

this is stuff from VWP - not sure they do 10 mm.

been on land rover for at least 6 years with no problems so far.
