BMW gearbox bearings?

I need to source some bearings for my BMW Getrag gearbox due to excess input shaft play. Does anyone know where I can source BMW parts at locost prices?

Not sure if this is any help but there is german french and swedish car parts ( www.gsfcarparts.com ) and also Eurocar parts ( www.eurocarparts.com ) which stock BMW parts that are not as bad as some places. Hope this helps!

If you have the box stripped take the bearing to your local bearing specialist , they may be able to help and be cheaper . Some play is normal in a first motion shaft if the crank uses a spigot bearing

it does use a spigot bearing, but I deemed 0.75mm to either side of centre to be a bit excessive?

The bearings are out so i will give BSL a call tomorrow and see what they reckon.
