Cupro Nickel
If a Cupro Nickel 8mm Tube is advertised on the net but says brake line can this be used as Fuel line??
Thanks - only ask as it appears quite cheapish but also its not a 25 meter roll.

A quick search of Fedhillusa.com say yes to fuel line usage.

Did it say 8mm i.d. or o.d. It will most likely be too thin for fuel if it's brake line, it might work for a return pipe.

Yes, it'll be fine. The diameter is as big as used on tin-tops as well so don't worry about that either.

no. brake line will have thick wall thus restricting the of fuel flow, unelss you have 25 cc engine.
what is wrong with microbore domestic heating tube from B&Q?

Kunifer is a superior alloy.
Isn't pipe measured on ID and tube on OD?
Though best to confirm with the supplier.

We've been using 8mm and 10mm cupro-nickel 'brake' tube from Partco on boats for years, petrol and diesel, and never a problem. It
don't have the same problems as copper, doesn't 'work harden' and crack with vibrations.
You can flare it, and use proper fittings, instead of pushing rubber tube over the end and a hose clamp.
Go ahead and use it with confidence, and ignore the doom merchants.
