megajolt or std ford ignition

is the mj better than the std ign

Surely a no brainer...!? The MJ is mappable, so can be optimized for your setup. The original Ford setup is not... why not use a Megasquirt to control timing, then switch to injection later on?

i thought you were going with a cossie set up? you will need Megasquirt as it runs injection, but if you are spending big bucks on Cossie Power then you shouldn't skimp on an Engine Management System

this was ment to be a poll,but it didnt work,
a bloke has brort my mj and i dont think he knows what he has,
he is on this furom,
i thort with all of your comments about how good the mj is that he will be happy with it,
and also he might read the fitting cd,and stop ringing me up for help,
you know who you are!!!!

Both work. I started with std ford electronic and new dizzy. Changed to MJ. Even on 2D map MJ was better. Car seemed to be smoother and more responsive.
