Bike Fuel Pump Noise
I went out for a drive this evening and when I got back the ZX6R fuel pump I'm using was making a lot of noise - it is on all the time and the
noise is lighter than it normally makes when it cuts in.
Is this likely to be a bit of dirt in it, or an air leak somewhere?
There are no fuel leaks and the car was running fine.
Time to buy a spare I think.

you havent been trying to do any uphill reverse starts have you?
Mine made an awful noise trying to do one (first time i've needed to).
Clutch and starter weren't happy either.
Is it a bike thing?
Time for a change!

How do you do a uphill reverse start in a car without reverse?

Was just driving normally.
It isn't doing it this morning.
I think I'll take it off and flush it out a bit.

I'm using a zx9r pump and carbs on my zetec and the pump goes nuts sometimes, never misses a beat and runs fine though so just gonna leave it go
and if it packs up will get a replacement

Mine made a noise recently, wasnt switching off when it was up to pressure. I found a perished hose. replaced it and pump was happy again.
Defo worth inspecting all of your fuel hoses just in case.
