mounting facet silvertop pumps
how do they have to mounted? do they have to be mounted vertical, or can they be mounted on their sides?

the recomendation for my red top was to mount vertically.
My previous pump was a silver/red top-alike and died after 10,000 miles because it was mounted on it's side. The shuttle was seriously worn when
I pulled it apart.
I believe this is why it died at an early age.

Would also recommend you fit it onto cotton reel bobbins if not the noise that transmits through the chasis is annoying to say the least

yeah, i'm kinda running out of space to mount it. the handy bracket already on the chassis means the fuel lines cross over the exhaust twice.
not cool.
the only vertical tubes are too close to the tank. i was going to use an exhaust clamp round a tube wrapped in rubber, and then the threaded end into
the mounting holes on the pump. but the ends point right at the tank which isn't allowed (and rightly so) maybe it could work though?
thought i could use one of the angled ones
