Type 9 ID Tag
I have been cleaning up a type 9 gearbox that I bought a few months back and I have found 2 tags on it
1st tag has R839T/FD stamped on and is attached through a bolt
2nd tag(see photo) has XMJCO8J141 stamped on and is stuck on.
Has anyone got any idea what these codes refer to?

Ermmm! see what photo?? Think one is the Ford part number, and the other refers to the model, not sure which is which. HTH RAY
