Zetec 1.8 silvertop torque settings

Hi all,

I am after the torque settings for the big ends and windage tray.
I borrowed a disk from coozer but my
computers wont open it.

i got the oil baffle tightened to 19 Nm

Big end caps to 18 Nm then a further 90 degrees

Main bearing cap bolts & nuts to 80 Nm

Taken from the haynes manual

The big end bolts on a zetec are the weekest point. I wouldnt personally.

Big end bolts are stretch bolts and are torque to yeild and should be replaced each time unless they are ARP bolts that can be re used.

Main cap bolts can be re used.
