Zetec Blacktop Heads
Are the Blacktop Zetec 1.8 and 2.0 heads the same?

No, combustion chambers are different.
Found that out to our cost when some were incorrectly labeled for engine testing. 1.8 on a 2.0 = big time detonation.

That's strange as i'm running a ported 1800 blacktop head on a 2L block, runs great.
Combustion chamber is smaller so the compression ratio higher but it allows you to radius behind tyhe exhaust valves to there not shrouded by the
chamber wall.
