Where do you measure....

....the diameter of a poly vee pulley?

I.e. is the diameter given as the tops of the pulley ribs, the bottom or somewhere in between?

No guesses please, I need to be certain of the right answer

Cheers,
David

Thanks, but that appears to be for single vee pulleys not poly vee.

All I can fin on the net is the OD of the ribs on the pulley, but this doesnt tie up with my measurements.

Hi David, when I did mine I cut up an old belt, wrapped it round the pullies and marked where it overlapped. You can always get an old belt from the scrappy. HTH Ray
